Reid Bixler Whitlock, 35, of Wexford, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at his home. He was born on December 8, 1989, in Pittsburgh, a son of Lance B. and Deborah Pryor Whitlock of Washington. Reid was a 2008 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School. He was a proud veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy from 2008 to 2016, where he specialized in Information Technology. During his service, he was stationed aboard the USS Ronald Reagan and the USNS Mercy. Following his military service, Reid worked in IT at Sentric, Inc. in Southpointe. He was also a devoted member of Legacy Church International in Washington. Reid was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed watching Netflix series, and had a love for sour candy, Reese's, and Skittles. Most importantly, he cherished spending time with his children and friends. On November 27, 2021, he married Paige Davis Whitlock. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Sienna, Leland and Gideon Whitlock; five stepchildren, Julius Carlisle, Leium Davis, Alianah Moss, Owen Moss, and Paislee Davis; a sister, Lindsay King (James) of Cleveland, Ohio; his maternal grandmother, Donna Pryor of Houston; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ciarra Thomas; his paternal grandparents, Craig and Beverly Whitlock; and his maternal grandfather, James Pryor. Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., the time of service, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Life Church, 100 N. Main St., Washington, PA 15301. Arrangements are entrusted to McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home, Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342.
