She leaves behind her brother Robert (Gloria) Hickey; 5 children Beth (Mark) Pruett, Shawn (Karl) Rechlin, Ann (Michael) Holland, Mary (Dan) Miller, James (Kim) Matyniak; 9 grandchildren (Cameron, Samantha, James, Calvin, James III, Chase, Ryan, Nikolas, Nathan) 3 great grandchildren (Vivian, Cecilia, Henry) and many nieces and nephews.
Rejane affectionately called "Rejy" is remembered for her passionate love she had for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, and going to the Casino. She was also an avid Tigers fan.
Rejane always had strong faith in God and the Catholic Church. In Arizonia, she served her church as an Eucharistic Minister.
On April 24th, 2025, there will be visitation at 9:00am, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00am, for Rejane Matyniak, at St Kieran Catholic Church located at 53600 Mound Road, in Shelby Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Rejane's favorite charity, St Jude's Children Hospital.
