Renetta Unger Obituary

Beloved wife of the late Louis M. Unger, whom she married October 19, 1963 and who preceded her in death on November 14, 2018, loving father of Robert (Erick) Unger of Aurora, IL, devoted daughter of the late Edward and Florence (nee Kubiak) Nawrocki, dear sister of Barbara (the late Theodore) Sofos of Naperville and Virginia (Greg) McCambridge of Downers Grove, IL, sister-in-law of the late Fred (Wanda) Unger, fond aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, 9:00-11:00 AM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville, IL 60540.
A celebration of Renetta's life will follow Saturday, 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
Future inurnment: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

A one in a " Millon Friend" I will miss you "SO" much. We had a friendship that not too many people get to experience helping each other figure out the puzzles on Wheel of Fortune and discussing the problems of the world. We had "SO" many good times together at our book club meetings the four of us Renetta,Beverly, Marion and Vickie. We will remain friends until the end of time. Love you guys now and forever!!
