Rhonda Pearson Harrison, 65, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She is survived by her husband, Ken Harrison; daughters, Natalie and Mackenzie Harrison (Elias); father, Leroy Pearson; her sister, Lisa Muncy; many cousins, and several beloved pups.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Knable Pearson. Rhonda was a graduate of Clarksville High School and Spalding University. She worked as a registered dietician/clinical nutrition manager, retiring after forty-seven years of service at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Rhonda was a superb cook. She was passionate about preparing delicious and plentiful meals for her friends and family. Whether cooking a small meal for four or a banquet for 40, she relished the opportunity to nourish those she cared for most. She leaves behind many precious memories of backyard parties and Sunday dinners. She was an avid reader and very fond of vacations at the beach. She was a good person and friend, who will be missed dearly by many.
Services are to be held at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, KY 40205, on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life after burial, with the site to be announced.

Rhonda, my heart is broken. You hired me at Clark when I was in high school many years ago. We worked together for over 17 years. You were literally the best boss I ever had. Even when I moved to another department, you would always come talk and ask about my kids or what was going on in my life. You were always smiling and always so sweet. I am so lucky to have met you and to have had you in my life. You will truly be missed! Love you Rhonda, may you rest in peace!

Rhonda was the sweetest and kindest person and while at work cared for the patients first and foremost. We always bonded over our Westies. She watch my Westie one year while I went on vacation. She was a true friend. Love you Rhonda.

I really miss our talks at work...how I would give u recommendations on how to make the dietary choices for patients better. You had utmost concern for them. U were always smiling...always made me feel happy when I saw u. I'm so saddened by your departure but I am confident u are embraced by the loving arms of God..Jesus and all.of your loved one's in heaven. I'm sure your doggie is so sad you're not home but one day you will be rejoined. We will miss your beautiful smiling face miss lady. Love u!!! Thank u for being a part of our lives. U truly are an inspiration.

Oh Rhonda, I can´t begin to even express how much you will be missed. Your kindness, your smile and your cheerful self made our days in Clark bright. You were always there to cheer everyone up with your kindness, your baking especially when the days were rough! Your unpaid dedication to staff and patients was tremendous. I hope your girls know how proud you were of them! There was not a day you didn´t talk about them! Rest in Heaven friend. My heart is broken.

I had the pleasure of working with Rhonda for over 20 years. She always made the patient first but a close second was taking care of "those" who cared for the patients. She often brought special homemade treats for the staff or found hidden treasures in the dietary dept. You were loved Rhonda. Faithful servant; job well done! May you rest in peace friend . Amen
