Richard Wayne Boris, age 60, went peacefully into the arms of his Heavenly Father on December 1, 2024, at his home in Fort Worth, TX.
Richard was born on February 15, 1964, in Fort Worth, TX, to Ruby and Alex Boris. He was a man of great humility and respect who deeply loved God and his family. Richard spent 15 years serving as a custodian with Castleberry ISD and genuinely loved his job, but his true passion was found in his music and ministry.
He is preceded in death by his father - Alex, mother - Ruby, brother - Alex Jr., and niece - Donna.
Richard is survived by his sisters - Annie and Sharon, brother-in-law - Bill, nephews - Chuck, Robert, and Randy, and niece - Natasha.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service is being held at 11am on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the South Fort Worth Baptist Church, located at 800 W. Fogg Street, Fort Worth, TX 76110. Light refreshments will be served immediately following the service.
If anyone would like to provide flowers/plants for the service, the family asks that they be delivered to the church between 10am-10:30am on the day of the service.
