He graduated from Woodruff High School Class of 1964. After graduation he attended Bradley University where he graduated Class of 1968 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Following his graduation Richard proudly served in the U.S. Army. He later worked for Genoli & Company from 1971 to 1985.
Richard is survived by his sister Gloria (John) Gresham of Scappoose, Oregon; nephews Timothy J. (Collet) Gresham of Yakima, Washington, Douglas M. (Melissa) Gresham of Portland, Oregon; great-nephews Kyle R. Gresham, Ryan J. Gresham both of Portland, Oregon; great-nieces Brittany Kaple of Yakima, Washington, Brooke (Tyler) Spevacek, of Salem, Oregon; great-great-nephew Dean Kaple; cousins Donna (Stan) Harris of Lockport, Illinois and Karen (Ron) Kemp of Morton, Illinois.
Cremation Rites have been entrusted to Cumerford-Clary Funeral Home of Peoria, Illinois. Online tributes and condolences may be made at www.cumerfordclary.com.
