Dickie, age 76, of Tylertown, MS, went to his heavenly home on June 22, 2024. He loved fishing, hunting, and running his beagles. Dickie had a special place in his heart for kids and not just his own. He coached little league baseball, helped with 4-H Horse Club, and poured his heart into both of his children, friends of his children, and grandchildren. Dickie created fond memories to fill the hearts of all 5 of his grandchildren from fishing, hunting, or running his rabbit dogs. He will be forever loved and missed.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Angie Smith Foil; Daughter, Lisa Foil Bickford and husband, Wes of Hattiesburg, MS; Son, Richard "Bo" Foil and wife, Jackie of Hammond, LA; sister, Patsy Foil Caldwell and husband, Glen of Kingston, OH; and grandchildren, Sawyer Foil, Slade Foil, Colby Foil, Cody Bickford, and Elizabeth Bickford.
Dickie is preceded in death by his mother, Pat Gartman; father, Harold Foil; grandparents, T. Walter and Mattie Thornhill and Richard and Hettie Foil; and mother and father-in-law, Hugh and Doris Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dickie's memory can be made to any leukemia foundation
