Richard G. Groff was born on July 11, 1963, in Topeka, Kansas. His spirit encountered challenges early in life, culminating in a long and brave fight with Chronic Lung Disease. He passed away on January 8, 2026 in Edwardsville, KS
Richard graduated from Seaman High School. His pursuit of knowledge continued as he attended the Kaw Valley Area Vocational School and the Kansas City Community College. He was employed by 360 DTii, Orange County CA, a provider of document management systems & solutions for the Healthcare Community. He was assigned to Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Groff, and his devoted sister, Pamela Johnson and nephew, Chief Heath R. Johnson, USN, San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Groff.
Cremation is planned, and no memorial service will be held.
