Richard Clapham Worcester, age 91 years, of Middleboro, MA, formerly of Plymouth and Arlington, died Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the Namasket Health Center in Middleboro. He was the son of the late Paul and Berith (Clapham) Worcester. Born on August 23, 1933 in Arlington, he was a graduate of Arlington High School, where he met his former wife, Janet. He formerly worked as a doorman at the Ritz – Carlton in Boston. He loved to watch movies and had an extensive collection. Classical music was a life-long passion for Richard, when he learned to play the trumpet in high school, and even began learning the keyboard as much as he could later.
His daughter Karen Ingalls of West Bath, Maine predeceased him, and he is survived by his devoted son Edward Worcester and his wife Kathleen of Waterville, Maine, his grandchildren Theodore "Teddy" Worcester and Meaghan Murphy, and his great granddaughters, Natalie, Nora and Liza.
Services for Richard are private. Interment in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth, MA.
