Passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at home. Age 70 years. Richard was born on January 3, 1953, in Saginaw to the late Richard and Loraine (Feit) Zietz, Sr. He was married to Shari Ostrander on July 25, 1998, in Vassar. She survives him, along with three sons, Richard (Rick) Zietz, and special friend, Darci; David (Virginia) Zietz; Steven Zietz, and stepdaughter, Jennifer Will. His two sisters, Gina (Tim) Brooks, Sonja (Mike) Skrocki, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, also many nephews and nieces. He was also predeceased by his son, Jeffery; grandson, Landon; granddaughter, Lily.; and his sister, Renie Prueter.
Funeral service will take place 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw. The Rev. William Hessler will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m., then on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
