Rickie White Obituary

He attended school at Fort Gibson and went on to proudly served his country in the United States Army during Viet Nam war from 1967-1969 earning the Purple and Bronze Star.
He married the love of his life Vicky Jean Dixon, on December 12, 1969 at Liberty Baptist Church in Morris, OK. They made their home in the Fort Gibson area for 47 years before her death in 2016.
He enjoyed, spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping, cooking his special chili for everyone and setting on his porch watching his old horse Newt while making cane and walking stick.
He was preceded in death by his wife Vicky, parents Charlie and Evelena White, 1 brother Charlie White Jr. and a sister Vevelena Little.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory 1 brother Roger White and wife Linda Doylene, of Fort Gibson, OK; 2 sisters Barbara Baskins and husband Jimmy of Braggs, OK; Carol Herber of Eufaula, OK. and 14 nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Pallbearers will be Billy White, Justin White, Brady White, Mike Stacy, Brandon Qualls and Mike Courtney. Honorary Pallbearers are A Van Nguyen, Burlon (Dobber) Dyer and Tech Sgt. Billy Peters.

A longtime friend and Fort Gibson classmate. Rickie was a humble true Gentlemen who served his country and did everything he could for everyone he knew. He has been comforted in the arms of angels. Helen (Rogers) Haynes
