Robert Francis Carroll, age 87, a resident of Mount Clemens, Michigan passed Friday, August 8, 2025 at McLaren Macomb Hospital, Mt. Clemens. He was born on June 18, 1938 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Bernard and Thelma (Burns) Carroll. On October 12, 1960 at St. Paul's Church in Cranston, Rhode Island, Robert was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Malo. Together they shared nearly 11 years of marriage before she passed on February 28, 1971.

Robert proudly served in the United States Navy as a Seaman from 1955 – 1959. He later worked as a baker at the Mills and Awrey Bakeries. As a member at St. Peter Catholic Church in Mt. Clemens, Robert was active with St. Vincent de Paul. As part of a musically talented family, he enjoyed playing the organ, which his father taught him, and he could often be found listening to Big Band Orchestras. Robert also held a passion for the outdoors, loved birds, and watching movies.

He is survived by his niece Joy (Richard) Kundrata, nephew Brian (Angela) Carroll, and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Robert was also preceded in death by his brothers James "Jim" Carroll and John "Jack" Carroll.

Cremation arrangements entrusted to the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, Mt. Clemens. Inurnment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Township, MI. Memorial donations in memory of Robert are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church, Mt. Clemens. Share memories, express condolences, and sign the online guestbook at www.vickfuneralhome.com.
