Gladys Faye Carroll, 72, of Seneca, SC, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2025. Born on October 21, 1952, in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Earnest Marvin Carroll and Louise Ingle Carroll.

Gladys worked for many years in the cafeteria at Oconee Memorial Hospital, where her caring spirit and friendly smile touched the lives of both coworkers and visitors. She was a woman of quiet strength, known for her devotion to her family and her willingness to always lend a helping hand.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Marvin Carroll, and her sister, Sandra Carroll. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Puskas; her beloved children, Tracy McElreath (James), Christie Owens-Sloan (Joe), Jason Owens (Debra), and Alexis Puskas; and her cherished grandchildren, Justin McElreath, Joshua McElreath, Jonah McElreath, Jeremiah McElreath, Jalyn McElreath, Ainsley Sloan, Hadan Sloan, Isaac Owens, Madison Owens, Olivia Bass and Abigail Bass. She is also survived by her beloved great-grandchildren, Emma McElreath, Oakley McElreath and Adonias Cruz. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Gladys formerly attended Welcome Baptist Church and carried her faith close to her heart. She will be remembered for her love, her kindness, and the many lives she touched throughout her years.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation one hour prior, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Westminster, SC.

Her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
