Bob was born in Cincinnati, OH to William Davis and Alma Harsch Davis. He married his best friend and love of his life, Elaine Florence Taylor of Mt. Healthy, OH on April 9, 1960.
Bob is survived by his wife Elaine Davis. Children Robert (Marcia), Kristen (Donald) Baker, and Greg. Grandchildren Ashleigh, Nicholas, Mollie, and Taylor. Also survived by his brother William (Peggy) Davis and extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private services will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens for family at a later date.

It has truly been an honor to know him and be a part of the extended family. Over the years I have seen how important he is to his kids and especially the grandkids. As badly as I have wanted to be good at the Aunt status I could never compete with the joy Bob and Elaine brough to their roles as Grammy and Pop! What a blessing to see the love and bonds grow between them and the grandkids. It's a gift like no other to be so adored by family and friends. And he was. He' will be missed but fortunately for all of us he left so many memories to cherish. We saw each other mostly on holidays or special occasions but he made quite the impression. My heart goes out to Elaine, Rob, Marcy, Taylor, Kris, Don, Ashleigh, Nick, Mollie and Greg. He was an incredible man and will be missed. Love you all and thank you.
