Robert M. Heckman Jr.

In loving memory of Robert (Bob) Heckman, 82, of Fishers, IN passed away on February 17, 2022 with his wife, Lee Ann, by his side. He was born January 6, 1940 in Indianapolis, the son of Robert M and Genevieve (Sherrill) Heckman. Bob was a Boy Scout and passed all levels to become a Eagle Scout. Bob was graduated from Broad Ripple high school class of 1958. Following graduation, he attended Indiana University in Bloomington Indiana. Bob served in the United States Army. During his service, he was stationed in Paris, France for 29 months. Following his service, Bob became a manufacture's representative and was in sales until his retirement. He was with Dexter shoe company for over 35 years and traveled to and lived in many states. He married his wife, Lee Ann, in Sausalito, California in 1984. They would have celebrated 38 years of marriage this year. Bob loved to play golf with his friends and classmates of many years. He was very engaging and had a wonderful sense of humor that made no one a stranger to him. He touched so many lives and will be missed by his family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sherrill, and brother, David Heckman.
