Robert "Bobby" Katt, Jr. of Bay City, Michigan passed away Thursday afternoon, November 10, 2022 at Autumnwood Nursing Home in Deckerville, Michigan, age 64. Bobby was born May 3, 1958 in Bay City, Michigan to Robert J. and Monica E. (Wenglikowski) Katt, Sr. He graduated from John Glenn High School, class of 1976. Bobby was a past member of Zion Lutheran Church and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Bobby is survived by his mother, Monica E. Katt; sisters, Becky (Gerald) Steinhoff, Vicky Sumner, and Kellie (Todd) Vallender; nieces and nephews, Olivia (Yasu Sakamoto) Sumner, Jodi (Cory) Sargent, Lindsey Vallender, Brittney (Nick) Saxton and Nathan (Erica) Vallender, four great nieces and nephews, Lucas, Jace and Evelyn Vallender and Henry Saxton; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all whom loved him dearly and will miss him immensely. Bobby's family would like to recognize and thank the staff at Autumnwood in Deckerville for their kindness and compassion shown to Bobby during his stay there. Their support did not go unnoticed.
Bobby's family will greet family, friends and neighbors on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 3-6:00 p.m. at Squires Funeral Home, 211 North Henry Street, Bay City, Michigan where a memorial service will begin at 5:00 p.m. Pastor Phillip Baerwolf will officiate. He will be laid to rest on in a private family ceremony in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bay City, Michigan.
