Robert E. Larrimore

Born December 18, 1949, Robert Elliott Larrimore (known as Bob), a native of Cape Cod, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Son of the late Robert Larrimore and Carol Larrimore (Baker) of Orleans, he leaves behind his daughters Carol Hoodless, Kimberly Olson, and Danielle Sylvia, two step-daughters, five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and a great step-granddaughter. He is survived by his sister Kathy Elliott, as well as nieces.
Bob found value in love. Therefore, marrying four times in his life. First, to Marilyn Pope (Willis), then Gail Szegda (Canney), Christine Perry, and lastly to Priscilla Lombard-Larrimore (Lopes). Priscilla was the one who really understood him and could appreciate him for who he was. You could say, he just needed to find his "person".
For those who knew Bob, he said what was on his mind, never cared what others thought, but secretly cared about everyone. He loved and worked hard, was known for being stubborn and in some cases, not easy to like. But even with that, he always enjoyed helping others when they needed it the most.
A graduate of Nauset Upper Cape Technical School in Bourne, Bob worked his whole life in trucking and excavating. He started in the business with his dad after high school and soon owned and operated his own business, R.E. Larrimore Excavating. He had a passion for riding his Harley, and later in life he found his love for golf.
