Robert Michael Marang

Robert "Bob" M. Marang, 75, of Shreve, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Ohio's LifeCare Hospice.
Burial and graveside services, with military rites, will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 10:45 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel is assisting with the arrangements. All are welcome.
Bob was born January 31, 1947, in Canton, Ohio to Clement E. and Gertrude {Murray} Marang. He graduated from Perry High School in 1965. Bob proudly served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969 in the 4th Armored Division. He married the love of his life, Debra Miller, on June 3, 1977 and they shared forty-five wonderful years together.
Bob enjoyed an early retirement in 2002, after working thirty-eight years for Republic Steel. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Apple Creek Post 147. Bob loved the outdoors, hunting, taking care of his property and playing with his dog, Mo.
Bob will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Debra; children, Barbara (Michael) Austin of Indianapolis, Joshua Marang of Shreve; grandchildren, Bryant Lee Jr., Shawn Moore, Cody (Sarah) Moses, Brittiany Moses, and Lillian Marang; Sister-in-law, Wendy (Scott) Daniels; Brother-in-Laws, Robert (Ginnie) Miller, Rick (Sandy) Miller; and the first great-grandchild is expected in January.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Kandi Moore; his Brothers Harold, Derwood, William, and Paul; Sisters Barbara, Kathleen, and Carrie.
