Bob and I had the honor of being Deacons together at Firelands Church. We were in charge of bringing in the coffin of one of our congregation. I remember Bob reaching in the pocket of his black suit and pulling out the program from the last time he used that black suit. It was from his wife´s funeral. He paused pulled himself together and shared the discovery. The calm, loving gentleness with which he handled his emotions will be with me forever. What a great example Bob was for us all.

Bob was always so nice and friendly when he would stop by the Frederick Agency or I´d see him at the coffee express, he will be missed.

Bob was a generous person with his Boat building skills helping at the Sandusky Maritime Museum teaching classes and especially helpful with the "battle of Lake Erie bicentennial" construction of the Perry Longboat for the Perry Group. He visited me often on his bike at my office at the Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce! He will be greatly missed. he was truly an island guy.

Our Uncle Bob was a very special person in our (my sister Janice Reynolds Gstalder and myself) lives and we're sorry to hear of his passing through a 3rd party. I would also like to include our father, Bob's brother, Scott Matthews Reynolds, who also preceded him in death. We met many wonderful people throughout Uncle Bob's life, he was a true original! God Bless.
