Dad, the law of love knows no boundaries of distance or time. Our love for each other is a lasting testament to that. I will make sure my young Grandchildren grow up knowing who you were as a person, and how much you loved and sacrificed everything you had not only for family but for your country. You often told me that carrying my baby picture with you in the jungles of Vietnam is what kept you alive every day and got you back home. Now I must press on through this Earthly life carrying your memory with me to give me strength to continue on during the good as well as trying times. You truly gave everything that you had, and asked for nothing in return. My family will forever love you and keep your memory alive until we meet again in heaven-where there is no more pain, only peace and love. We will continue the tradition of playing our "nothing past the 90´s classic rock music " that we all enjoyed together with you on those beautiful warm summer evenings of sitting under our gazebo in the garden with the sound of the cascading water fountain flowing to which you said you felt was the most peaceful place of all. I´m so thankful for the memories of good times there ....You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Love Your daughter, Chelle, son-in-law Richard, Granddaughters Jessica & Jennifer, Grandson in-law and fellow Army veteran Thomas Deel, and Great Grandchildren whom you dearly loved, Josephine Rose, Jameson and Joshua.
