Robert Eugene Sabo, 86, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, with family at his side at The Ashford of Grove City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Anna (Toth) Sabo, and his brother, Ronald Sabo.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Donna (née Baker); daughters Amy (Steve) Babbert, Beth (Tony) VanGundy, Megan (Michael) Grabner, and Wendy Decker; grandchildren Craig (Natalie) Babbert, Kyle (Amanda) Babbert, Meghan (Kyle) Imhulse, Emily (Andrew) Long, Caitlin (Zack) Nagaich, Sarah (Mitchell) Sturm, and Andrew (Sara) Decker; and great-grandchildren Jackson and Sylvie Babbert; Hunter Babbert; Owen, Cameron, and Evan Long; William and Charlotte Sturm; and Chloe and Madison Imhulse.

A graduate of South High School in 1957, Robert was a proud veteran of the Army, having served as a Sergeant from 1956 to 1962. Robert worked for many years at Lazarus in building and design and later owned his own business, Sabo and Associates. He was a long-time member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, where he served in various leadership positions and sang in the choir. His faith and dedication to his church family were central to his life. Throughout his life Bob enjoyed making beautiful artwork, traveling, and boating at Buckeye Lake.
