He is survived by loving family and friends, notably his sons, Robert Ames Sylvia and Thomas Adams Sylvia of Lavallette, New Jersey and Cambridge; his daughter, Sarah Sylvia of Saint Albans; his extended loved ones: Bobbie Ann Brooks, Bobbie Ann Maniello, and Lisa Marie Maniello, all of Hartland, and the Fitzgerald family of Cambridge.
He will be remembered always as friend, father, fisherman, and a fantastical dreamer.
A gathering will be held by the family at a time to be announced.
