Robert "Rob" Alan Tuttle, age 46, of Netcong, NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 after a long battle with melanoma cancer at Hackettstown Medical Center.
Rob was born in Dover, NJ, he was raised in Stanhope, NJ prior to moving to Netcong. Rob always had a passion and love for working on vehicles and used his expertise every day; either while employed as a mechanic for Peterson & Sons Tree Service, or fixing up his family's cars.
Rob enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, a lifelong hobby that started in his childhood alongside his grandfather. He was a talented man who was known to create chainsaw carvings and he perfected creating bears and dragonflies from wood and pumpkins. He was a lover of classic rock, notably Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd.
Though a stoic man to most, those who knew and loved him well will remember him for his amazing sense of humor and caring nature.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Norma Fluke, and his paternal grandfather Alan Tuttle; as well as his recently departed father in law, Charles J. Albanese
He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Lisa Tuttle; his daughter, Amanda Meyers (Jordan); three cherished grandchildren; his parents, Marjorie Fluke and Gary Tuttle; his siblings, Amy Swift (Brian) and Jim Tuttle (Krissy); Sister in law, Stacy Caruvana; and mother in law, Kathy Albanese
.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 4:00 - 7:00PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main St, Netcong, NJ. Private cremation will follow.
