Roberta Davis Obituary
Roberta Davis age 92, of Broken Bow, NE passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Brookestone View in Broken Bow.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
Roberta Rae Davis was born on June 21, 1933, in Broken Bow, NE to Lewis A. and Emma (Young) Myers. Roberta grew up in the Gates area and attended Gates Grade School, then attending Broken Bow Schools and graduating in 1950.
On March 21, 1951, Roberta was united in marriage to Doyle Davis. The couple made their home in Broken Bow. Roberta worked for Northwestern Bell as an operator for 17 years, then worked at Custer Federal for 17 years, and then for 17 years at the Custer County Court House. Retiring in 2006.
Roberta enjoyed following her grandchildren and great grandchildren in all their activities.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents Emma and Lewis, husband Doyle, and sisters Ramona Harrold and Betty Knoell.
Roberta is survived by daughters Jennifer (Steve) Horn of Broken Bow and Merri Ellis of Broken Bow, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sister Marge (Marion) Cumpston of Kearney, and brother Lewis (Janet) Myers of Merna, several nieces and nephews.
