Robin L. Gilmour (nee Whaley) of Prospect Park, PA, passed away on June 25, 2025, after an illness. She was the cherished wife of Richard, loving mother of Joseph Randazzo (Agnès) and Scott Gilmour (Christine); grandmother of Owen Randazzo; sister of Missy Nichols (Wade), Lynne Oliver (Jimmy) and the late Timothy and Jonathan Whaley.
Robin is also survived by her dear cousins, Harry Jamison (Barbara), Helen Mendez, Deb Davis (Steve Decker), Jacquie Bishop (Barry), and Denise Clarke (Denny); long-time friends Joan Sheehan, Rita Powers, and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late William Whaley and Janet Walls. She was a 1975 Interboro High School graduate.
Robin was a thoughtful, generous person with a contagious laugh. She was beautiful inside and out. She loved giving gifts to her loved ones. A talented artist, Robin loved to draw and paint. She made many gifts for family and friends, as well as home decorations. She even had her own craft business years ago, "Robins Riches".
But her true source of happiness was her family and spending holidays with them. And family includes her pets! She loved her dog Shane, but everyone knew she was a cat person – especially her cat Gigi!
Family and friends are invited to Robin's viewing on Tuesday July 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood and again on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Interment in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
