Robyn Jane Nolan

Robyn J. Nolan of North Haven passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted and loving daughter of Retired Hamden Police Chief Robert F. Nolan and the late Shirley M. Matressa Nolan.

Born and raised in New Haven, Robyn's life was rooted in family. Robyn's greatest joy came from being a daughter and sister. She also cared for many animals throughout her life. A graduate of North Branford High school, she worked as a phlebotomist, a career she used to help others.

She is survived by her father; her cherished partner, Kevin Spada; nephew and nieces Robert M. Pesapane (Jennica), Eliscia Pesapane, and Haley Wordie; great-nephews Gage, Michael (MJ), and Robert Axel; aunts Dorothy Rubino and Jayne Kowaleski; and many loving cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Dawn Nolan Wordie.

The visiting hours will be on Saturday morning, March 14th from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
