Rogena Mae Williams affectionately known as "Tiny" was born March 31, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio. Tiny lost her battle to Alzheimer's disease and gained her heavenly wings on Monday, October 23, at the Kobacker House surrounded by her family and close friends.
Tiny attended Columbus Public Schools and was a graduate of South High School. She later married Isaiah Williams and from that union one child was born. Tiny was a faithful and active member of Hosack Street Baptist Church. She sang in the choir; creativity decorated the bulletin board for each occasion every month and was involved the Do-Re-Mi Chorus. She worked at Consolidated International for three years while attending cosmetology school where she got her license to be a cosmetologist. She did hair for a few years at Boyd's Barber Shop in Southfield, but her passion was to work with children. Tiny worked for Child Development Council of Franklin County~ (HeadStart) as a teacher and she also worked for the City of Columbus Parks and Recreation Centers teaching Arts & Crafts. Tiny was gifted with many talents that she shared with her family, friends and the Southside Community. She was a gentle giant that loved and showed kindness to everyone that came into her presence. While the love for children was her passion she also enjoyed, arts & crafts, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was true nurturer from her heart with a quiet and sweet spirit.
In 2016 she was forced to retire due to illness. She was blessed with 71 years of life. Rogena is proceeded in death by her grandparents Clarence & Mary Pearson, her parents James(stepdad) & Imogene Wallace, Sister Tequila Wallace, Nephews Tony Larry, MarQue'z Bradley, and Dishon Coles Sr.
