Roger Acie Templeman, born August 25, 1938 in Stambaugh Michigan to Cletice and Hazel Templeman was called by our Lord to his new home on March 20, 2025.
Roger is survived by his son Curtis (Sara) Templeman, daughters Deborah (Duane) Captain, Belinda (Nathan) Bratka, sisters; Shirley, Beverly and Renee, brothers, William and Binky and a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-six years Marlene and son Roger W. Templeman, five sisters, Pauline, Thelma, Nadine, Donna and Darla.
His childhood was spent in Long Lake Wisconsin where some of his fondest memories were. From there he moved to Rockford Illinois where he met Marlene and married her. He joined the Navy and served his country. He continued to live in Rockford and raise his family until he moved to Grand Junction Michigan at the age of thirty-three. He loved his family and friends and always went out of his way to make sure they all had what they needed. A special thanks needs to go out to his granddaughter Nichole (Lewis) Rainey for taking him in in his hour of need and his grandson Paul (Amanda) Fuller for providing him with a home at the end of his life. He will be missed greatly by all because of the man he was.
Visitation for Roger will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 S. Bailey Ave, South Haven Michigan 49090 from 12 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Pastor Joshua O'Dell will officiate. Roger will be laid to rest at Grand Junction Cemetery.
