Date of Death: October 8, 2024
Date of Birth: March 1, 1945
The second of Elfredge Girardin and Rilda Madore-Girardin. Roland is survived by his wife Aleta LeClair-Girardin of 59 years, his three sons Mark, Steven, and Scott. Two daughters-in-law Tammy and Shanni. 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. His sister Rolande and her husband Roger Breton, his mother-in-law Inez LeClair, and many nieces and nephews.
Roland was a gifted carpenter building many professional buildings, including churches and homes in Maine, even building a couple decks. His sister always said, "he could fix ANYTHING!" He started his construction company in 1973 and worked until 2024. He enjoyed going to Florida for the warm winters but would never leave till after hunting season was over. He was an avid sportsman, he loved hunting, trapping, and fishing. He always loved a good game of Texas Hold 'Em. He led a full life, his family always said it was his way or the highway, he was often right. He will truly be missed by his family and friends, especially the Tim Hortons and McDonald's guys he met with daily.
He was predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 step grandson.
Rest in Peace our beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather.
