Ronald H. Bollock, 89 of West Lafayette passed away at 9:03pm on Sunday October 26, 2025. He was born in Lafayette and was the son of Alfred and Luella Anthrop Bollock.
He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1955 and received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Indiana University.
On December 29, 1962, he married Kathryn M. Koehler of Quincy, Illinois and they raised three children together. Ron was the Business Manager/Comptroller of DeFouw Chevrolet for 30 years, retiring in December 1995.
He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and a member of the finance committee for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, and volunteering at Caregiver Companion, Salvation Army, American Cancer Society, United Way, Friends of the Library, Red Cross, and Lafayette Kiwanis.
He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn on August 27, 2020. He is survived by a son Jim (Lori) of Lafayette, two daughters, Mary Ann (Mike) Benecke of Napoleon, Ohio, and Denise (Stan) Ross of Lafayette.
He is also survived by five grandchildren Emily (Tyler) Richter, Casey (Hannah) Bollock, Holly Bollock, Lyndon (Chelsea) Benecke and Andrea (Jake) Meyer and eight great grandchildren. Ron was proud to attend the baptisms of all his great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Loretta Evans of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Jo Bollock, and two brothers Alfred (Tony) Bollock and William (Bill) Bollock.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 2nd from 5-8pm at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on Monday, November 3rd at 10:30am with Fr. Jeff Martin officiating. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lafayette Area Catholic Schools Foundation for tuition assistance.
