I was a student of his back in the 90's. Not only did he teach me but then he taught my sons and most recently my daughter. He was a family favorite teacher because of his teaching style. He even helped out when my sons were in Cub Scouts and they needed to learn science for a badge. Mr. Demko went above and beyond to help. I remember when my sons had him as Freshman and I walked into his classroom for open house. He just looked at me and shook his head and said NO Brandee I really be this old already please tell me you're joking with me.

I am shocked and sad to hear of Ron's passing. Tiger and I were classmates, friends and teammates at St. Stephens Elementary and Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School. Ron was a great guy, a tremendous athlete, my prayers to his family and friends. RIP my friend.

I was a student of his, almost everyday he would share a snack or a piece of his lunch with me. He was a really sweet guy and would even send me on tasks around the building in payments of suckers or candy.
