Ronald William "Bill" Johnston passed away on April 4, 2024, at his home in Milton, Florida. He was born October 13, 1948 in Bloomington, Indiana to George and Harriett (nee Crane) Johnston.
On April 11, 1969, Bill married Nancy Floyd. They had three sons: Andy, Jack, and John. Bill and Nancy moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1975. During his time here Bill worked for his church and owned his own trucking company.
Bill enjoyed collecting trains (he worked for the Monon Railway in his youth), talking about morel mushroom hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy; sons, Andy (Tina), Jack, and John (Dee); grandchildren: Hannah Duke (Andy), Daniel, Zachary, Erin, and Noah; two great-grandsons, Easten Duke and Santana Langford.
Although we are saddened, we take comfort knowing that he is finally home with his Lord and Saviour.
