Ronald Lee Rice, 58, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Frankfort, Kentucky. Born on January 22, 1967, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the beloved son of Clarence and Dollie Rice.
Ronnie was a loving brother, nephew, uncle, and friend whose gentle spirit and warm presence touched everyone around him. He found joy in the simpler things in life—listening to his favorite music, especially Def Leppard, sitting peacefully on the porch, and spending time talking with those he cared about. His easygoing nature and kind heart made him someone people were naturally drawn to.
He will be remembered for his laughter, his love of conversation, and the comfort he brought just by being himself. Ronnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Dale Rice and Dollie Foley Rice.
Left to cherish his memory, Ronald is survived by his loving siblings, Rebbecca Rice, David Rice, and Pamela Rice Lucas; aunt, Marcella Rice; uncle, Jarvis Rice; family care provider, Darren Harris; many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and close friends.
Visitation for Mr. Ronald Rice will be held on Thursday, November 20. 2025, from 11 AM to 7 PM; and Friday, November 21, from 12 PM to 4 PM, at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky.
