Ronald Lindburgh Stanberry, age 93, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on the 4th day of December 2024.Survived by his loving wife Sandra Stanberry, two children; Andre and Ronald Jr. two present stepchildren; Shantel and Dylon, two siblings; William and Winiefred, sixteen nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and a host of extended relatives and friends.
Ronald was born on the 27th day of February 1931 in Spanish Honduras, Central America to parents Salome Simith and Edward Stanberry. Ronald was first of five children along with brothers: John and William and Sisters: Lillian and Winniefred.
Ronald grew up in Bath District, Manchester Jamaica West Indies. Ronald became a trained Barber by the age of 17. After a few years he went to the big city of Kingston, St. Andrew Jamaica, to get more exposure as a trained barber. In 1961, age 30, Ronald migrated to the United States of America to join his father followed by his four siblings two years later.
In the USA, Ronald worked for fifty-seven years in the beauty industry as a Licensed Professional Barber and simultaneously nineteen years in the hotel industry as a hotel Porter and Maintenance worker.
Ronald met and married Sandra in 2011, while living in Bronx, NY. In 2019 the couple relocated to Port Saint Lucie Florida. Within the last few years, Ronald's health began to deteriorate. Ronald was cared for at home by his loving wife Sandra until he departed.
Ronald enjoyed giving lessons based on life stories: he always has a warm and touching story to tell. If you did not love him; you did not meet him, as he was loved by all. His family and friends will always remember him as an excellent father figure loving, caring, and compassionate with a profound sense of humor.
