Ronnie Poirrier Obituary
New Iberia – Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Ronnie D. Poirrier, 74, who passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, in Lafayette.
Deacon Durk Viator will officiate.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Poirrier was born on September 11, 1949, in Erath, to the late Milton and Mae Suire Derouen. She was a caring and loving mother, who deeply loved taking care of her family. Mrs. Poirrier enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and spending time with her family. She cherished every moment with them and will always be remembered as “the best mom ever”.
Survivors include her husband, Adam Poirrier, Jr.; children, Thomas Robichaux, Jr., Shane Robichaux (Ashley), and Rebecca L. Broussard (Keith); grandchildren, Brooksie Robichaux, Gunnar Robichaux, Lauryn Broussard, Caemin Robichaux, and Aaron Broussard; brother, Chuck Derouen (Kathy), Glenn Derouen, and Rickey Derouen (Julie); and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Michelle Poirrier; sisters, Toni Bourque and Jackie Bennett.
