EUNICE With heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Ronnie J. Savoy announces his passing on Sunday, January 08, 2023 in the comfort of his home at the age of 64. Services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Chuck Ortego, officiating.
Ronnie was born on March 21, 1958, in Eunice to Elba and Marjorie Guidry Savoy. He worked offshore as a mechanic. After retiring he would enjoy going fishing at the camp in Toledo Bend. He loved cooking and was a handman for projects around the house. He was a wonderful, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his; two sons, Brock Zennon Savoy and Jake Aiden Paul Savoy of Eunice; the three joys of his life, his grandchildren, Caleb Anthony Savoy, Shane Michael Savoy and Andrew Brock Savoy; siblings, Pattie Savoy of Lake Charles, Keith Savoy of Eunice and Douglas Savoy of Abbeville; as well as extended family and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sonya Ann Kinslow Savoy and his parents.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice, on Wednesday, January 11th from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, January 12th from 8:00 am until time of services.
