Ronuelo S. Molano passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 16, 2023 in Ohio.
He was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure in August 2016 and battled it every step of the way and nothing stopped him. He never complained, and he laughed and loved until the very end with his wife and his family together. Also revered as "Ron", "Bobbi", or "Bobette", Ronuelo was born in Manila, Philippines on December 6, 1963 to Rodulfo Nava and Consuelo Salinas Molano.
In October 1970, Bobbi left the Philippines, as he often referred to the "land of water buffalo and rice fields", with his parents and two siblings to Chicago, IL and eventually Bolingbrook, IL. He attended Romeoville High School, then enlisted in the United States Army for 6 years and was stationed in Georgia and Okinawa, Japan. After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, Bobbi worked security detail.
He was the father of Marcus (Sabrina) and grandfather of Olivia Molano. On July 8, 1994, he married Sharon Marsh; together they had Jeremy, Jordan, and Joshua – AKA The JAM Production.
He was also the step-father of Chris Marsh. He was the loving sibling to his 4 sisters, late brother, and in-laws. He was goofy Uncle Bobbi to many nieces and nephews, charismatic nephew to aunties and uncles, and crazy cousin to cousins near and far! And the Pimp Daddy that was too sexy for everyone!
He loved drinking his coffee at 4am, viewing reality TV shows, watching any sport (but especially the Chicago Bulls, Bears, and White Sox), singing no matter who was around, and you sometimes could catch him dancing to his own beat or dancing back-up.
He loved life; family came first. You will hear him say/text "Bazinga", "Errrr", "Who dis?",
and "Zzzzzga" with no explanation. He was always a comedian, vibrant, loud, and giving.
Bobbi donated organs with LifeCenter Organ Donor Network in Ohio.
Visitation Friday, September 22nd from 3:00pm-8:00pm at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home 530 W. Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL. 60440.
Interment Private.
