Rosa Bundy Obituary

Rosa earned her Master's Degree in Education and worked as an elementary school teacher in Bronx, New York. She loved working with children and had such an amazing way about her that she was later made principal of the school with Spanish-speaking students even though she couldn't speak Spanish. Rosa loved to shop and engage in conversations with everyone she met. She was affectionately known as the community mom as she was always ready to feed her children and all the friends they would bring home for dinner. Rosa had a charm about her that was radiant and she left her mark on all who knew her.
Rosa is survived by her son Eric Dixon; daughter, Laurel Bundy; grandson Shane Taylor and his partner, Heather; great-granddaughter Aria Taylor; sister-in-law Vicki Byrd; niece Quijana Byrd and her husband, Wendall Hall; nephews: Kurt Brown and his wife, Mari Marjamaa; Oliver Byrd and his partner, Renee Kinchla; great nephew Wendall Hall, Jr. and many dear friends.
There will be a funeral service on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to time of service. Entombment will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery, 901 Bryant Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
