Rose Marie Ashworth Lowes, 62 of Little River, SC, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Embrace Hospice House of South Carolina.
Born October 24, 1961, in Fayetteville, NC, Rose is the daughter of the late John Leamon Ashworth and Mary Juanita Cary Ashworth. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her sister, Catherine Ashworth May.
Rose is survived by her son, Eric Lowes; daughter, Casey Lowes-Hazel and her husband Jon; son, Travis Lowes; two granddaughters, Josie and Charlotte Hazel; sister, Mary Ashworth Wright and her husband Michael; sister, Jennifer Ashworth Herr; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Rose will be affectionately remembered as an avid animal lover who greatly enjoyed dog-sitting for all her neighbors in the little village community where she resided. She also loved spending time at the beach and with her family whenever she could. Rose will be deeply missed and forever cherished by everyone who knew and loved her.
