Rosemarie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister who was affectionately known as an all-around mother to the world. She was never one to judge and always offered love and acceptance to all, always leaving a spot at the table for any family friends. She worked in cafeterias in the Corning School District for many years, known lovingly as the cookie lady.
Rosemarie cherished any time spent laughing and gathering with family. She always kept a curated collection of mother/grandmother approved movies, books, or puzzles that she would enjoy with her loved ones who remember them fondly.
Rosemarie is survived by her children, Gene (Beth) Beecher, Kevin (Kelly) Beecher, and Lisa (Randy) Hilligus, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Also dear to her heart were siblings Teresa Smith, Jean (Harry) Southard, Joyce (Don) French, Shirley (Ken) Dewert, John (Shirley) Froehlich, Bob (Ina) Froehlich, Ralph (Teresa) Borden, Ginger (Jerry) Morse, Tim (Cathy) Brimmer, Terry (Patty) Brimmer, as well as many half and step siblings.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Phillips Funeral Home 17 W. Pulteney Street, Corning, Saturday March 8, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. A celebration of Rosemaries life will follow at 4 P.M. at The Elks Club, 148 Walnut St, Corning.
