Rosemarie Winiesdorffer Obituary

She was born in Wheeling, WV, on August 31, 1929, daughter of the late Frank and Katherine Vuchok.
Rosemarie was an active member of The Cathedral of St. Joseph where she sang in the choir and was a member of the ladies guild. She was always available when needed and very helpful in raising her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Rosemarie was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Winiesdorffer; and son, Christopher Winiesdorffer.
Surviving are her five sons, Michael (Gail), Terry (Mary Kay), Alan (Roseann), Robert (Carrie), Tim (Danna) Winiesdorffer; her two daughters, Sandy (Dan) McKenzie, and Mary Bernadette (Tom) Fields; two sisters, Veronica Powell, and Goldie Czyzewski; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 with rosary devotions at 7:30 at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003 (304-232-2732). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 10 am with Father Paul Cabrita as celebrant, at The Cathedral of St. Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rosemarie s honor to Good Shepherd Nursing Home, 159 Edgington Lane, Wheeling, WV 26003.

There have been few people if any that were as kind to me in my lifetime as Rosemarie. I grew up on the hill on Bell's Lane, and for a few years in the 70's lived next door. I was at their home a lot, probably more than she wished, but she always treated me with the greatest of kindness and for that I am eternally grateful.
