Rosemary K. Wright

Rosemary (Fannon) Wright, of Falmouth and formerly of Natick, passed away peacefully on November 10th, 2023.
Born on July 9, 1933 in Natick, she was the devoted daughter of the late James and Katherine (Murphy) Fannon. She was the beloved wife for 30 years of William C Wright, Jr., who predeceased her in 1988.
An only child, Rosemary created family wherever she went. After graduating from Natick High School, Class of 1952 and Mount St. Mary College, Hookset, NH 1956, she returned to Natick where she and her husband, Bill raised their family.
In 1984, The Wrights relocated to Falmouth where Rosemary expanded her "family of friends" to whom she remained loyal to the end. A lifetime learner with a curious mind, Rosemary was an avid reader with a quick wit. She loved to travel, whether it was a trip to Europe or a visit with her grandchildren, for many years, she was constantly packing a bag. A woman of deep faith, she was a daily Communicant at St. Patrick's Catholic Church for 30 years.
Rosemary was the loving mother of Kathleen Kelly and her husband Michael, James Wright and his partner Sherry Riley, Patricia O'Brien and her husband, Patrick, William Wright, lll, and daughter in law Lisa Kelly Wright. She was the beloved Nana of Sarah Kelly Holmes, Colleen O'Brien, Allison Kelly Nicol, Brendan O'Brien, William Wright IV, Daniel O'Brien, Alexa Wright and two great-granddaughters. Also survived by her brother-in-law Robert and his wife Helen and many nieces and nephews She was predeceased by her sister-in-law and dearly cherished friend Faye Wright Camardo and her husband Anthony, her brother-in-law Richard Wright and his wife Jane, and her nephew Stephen Wright Camardo.
Rosemary's family would like to express their deep gratitude to Decatur House, Sandwich, Bridges by Epoch of Mashpee and Continuum Hospice for their compassionate care in her final days.
Visitation will be held at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 584 W. Falmouth Highway (Route 28A) West Falmouth, MA from 9 - 10 AM on Friday, November 17, 2023. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 481 Quaker Road, North Falmouth, MA. Final Resting Place will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Natick, MA.
