Roy "Rusty" Bennett went to meet his savior Jesus Christ on October 5, 2025. He was the son of the late Dorothy and Roy Bennett of Kingston.

Rusty grew up in Kingston attending schools in the WVW school system. He graduated in 1969 from WVW and went on to LCCC for two years. He realized was not for him and dropped out and took a job at Proctor & Gamble. Rusty worked there for 26 years retiring in May of 1998. Rusty’s great passions were hunting, and fishing and he pursued them with a vengeance after retiring. In 1971 he met his wife Judy Miller, and they were married in December of 1972. In 1973 they had a son, David and moved to Forkston, PA.
