Roy Erwin Clark, 82, of Dumas, TX passed away on January 4, 2022.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Dumas, TX. Burial will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox Ave.

Roy was born in Dumas, TX on November 28, 1939, to Kathleen and Roy Lee Clark. He graduated from Dumas High School in 1958, and earned his Bachelor's degree in Education from West Texas State University. He served in the 36th Division of the Army National Guard.

Roy farmed and ranched in Moore County his entire life. He loved being involved with his grandchildren, and watching them play football, basketball, and volleyball. His favorite place to eat and socialize was Hoggs BBQ. He also loved chocolate pie and chocolate covered cherries.

Roy was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Dumas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; former spouse, Sonja Clark; brother, Robert Lee Clark; sister, Ann Hughes; and brother, Bill Clark.

He is survived by daughter, Terri Davis and husband Mike Davis, of Dumas TX; son, Dr. Tom Clark, of Bushland, TX; daughter, Traci Gabel, of Amarillo, TX; sister, Nell Stewart and husband Joe Stewart, of Kokoma, IN; grandchildren, Lyndsi Jarl and husband Ryan, Alexi Davis, Ashli Hopkins, Ridge Clark, Arctic Clark, and Stockton Clark; and great-grandchildren, Rhyker, Remington, and Kenli.

The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M., Friday, January 7, 2022, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 500 N. Maddox in Dumas, TX.
