Rudeen Vaughn Branaum

Rudeen Vaughn Branaum, age 78, passed away peacefully after a four year battle with cancer.
She was born on May 16th, 1945, to Teston & Mattie Vaughn in Baxley, Georgia. She was one of seven siblings. She married Johnny Branaum in 1961. They were married 53 years until his passing in February 28, 2015
Rudeen was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved having her great granddaughters call her Gigi. When her children were little, she was a homemaker. Camping with her family, going to garage sales and to the goodwill were her favorite hobbies. When the children were grown, she went to work at Madalyn's Fine Jewelry for many years.
She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody.
She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Branaum, parents Teston & Mattie Vaughn and five of her siblings Jerry Vaughn, Wayne Vaughn, Judy Raymond, Earl Vaughn and Sylvia Taylor.
She is survived by her daughter Angel (Mike) Jolley, son John (Cassandra) Branaum, daughter Sherry Kizer and son Buddy Branaum.
Also, her grandchildren John Branaum, Ivey Culler, & Alyssa Kizer, and her three great granddaughters. Her only sibling left Janice (Larry) Carnes
There will be no services held for Rudeen as these were her wishes.
