Rudolph (Rudy) Barnes, Sr., was born on March 6, 1950 to the late Squire Barnes and the late Ethel lee Barnes (Jenkins) in Milledgeville, Georgia. Rudolph Barnes, Sr. departed this world on February 28, 2025 in his home with loved ones present.
Rudolph’s father enlisted in the Navy, after which he relocated his family to Cleveland, Ohio when Rudolph was about one year old (1951). Rudolph attended Cleveland Municipal Schools where he excelled in academics and graduated with Honors in 1969.
Rudolph continued his education at Cleveland State University majoring in Chemistry and Accounting. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry. He went on to marry Dorothy White and father 3 children.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
The family wishes you to share in his celebration of life on Friday, March 14, 2025 beginning at 1:30pm with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio. Repast information to be announced.
