Ruth Mondell Johnson

Ruth Mondell Loden Johnson, 98, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, at her home in Fulton. She was born October 27, 1926 to the late James Edgar Loden and the late Vivian Sandlin Loden. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mondell graduated from Itawamba Agricultural High School and Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was a supporter of the Itawamba County Library and was an avid reader. She taught school in the Huntsville Public Schools for many years.
Visitation only will be 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, March 31, 2025, at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be at Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include her nephews: Richard (Maria) Johnson and Dr. Michael (Ann) Howell of Fulton; nieces: Cynthia Johnson (Gene) Syarto and Janice Howell (George) Newbury; several great and great, great nieces and nephews, and many other cousins and extended family; caregivers: Kristi Ables and Melanie Barrett
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wiley Lester Johnson; niece, Carol Oswalt; nephews: Charles Johnson, Dwight Johnson, Gary Johnson
