Ruth Lambert Obituary

She was born July 22, 1941 at Thornwood, WV, a daughter of the late George Brown and Molly McCall Whitmire Brown. She was the youngest and last surviving member of her immediate family.
Ruth was a member of Thornwood Community Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Lambert, Sr. in 2016.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Paul "Pudge") Lambert of Durbin and Judy (Mark) Norton of Wilmington, NC; sons, Harold "Gene" Jr. (Susan) Lambert of Bartow, Jim "Eddie" (Valerie) Lambert of Durbin; grandchildren, Clinton Morris, Molly Morris, Chris Lambert (Goldie), Kimberly Lambert, Tabitha Norton, Dustin Lambert, Dervin Lambert (Teresa), Delton Lambert (Amanda) and Dayla Harper (Jared), and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale, with Pastor Jared Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Arbovale Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until time of the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
