Ruth May Brown McKinnies, a homemaker, entered eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus, on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the age of 70. She was a native of Kenner, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Ruth was a graduate of Grace King High School. She attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and International Shrine of St. Jude. Beloved mother of Angel Airelle Brown and the late Janier Star McKinnies. Grandmother of Miracle Sanai McKinnies.Daughter of Bessie Lee Brown and the late Lawrence Van Brown. Sister of Betty Eugene, Delores B. Smith, Darlean B. Minor, Rory Brown, Phillip Brown and the late Freddy Brown. Godmother of Yvotta Shante Brown, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins,other relatives, and friends. Private Funeral Services were held.
