Ryan T. Daly, a lifelong resident of Mahopac, NY passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the age of 27. He was born in North Tarrytown on June 1, 1994, the son of Thomas and Joanne (Malandrino) Daly.
Ryan graduated from Mahopac High School in 2012 and earned a Bachelor's Degree at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. He was a freelance photographer and also worked as a carpenter.
Ryan played football, basketball and his favorite sport, Lacrosse during his school years. In his spare time, he enjoyed skateboarding, fishing, snowboarding and the Jets. He had an eye behind the lens and captured so many wonderful pictures. He was one of kind and brought much love and joy to everyone he met. He loved spending time with his family and friends making people smile. He had the most infectious laugh.
In addition to his parents of Mahopac, he is survived by his brothers, Thomas and Nicholas; his maternal grandmother, Grace Malandrino; Aunts Leslie Malandrino, Rosalyn (Tony) Ferrera, Maria Solari (Robert); Uncles John Malandrino, Vincent Daly (Effie) and John Daly (Debbie) and many cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Vincent and Mary Daly, maternal grandfather John Malandrino, and his aunt, Mary Daly whom he thought the world of.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 15 from 1-5 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 16 at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, Mahopac. Interment will be private.
